WE ARE HOMEOWNERS!!

We have been married over 9 years and are now buying our first home. It has been a long time coming. I do have to say, we won't be doing this for a LONG time. It was one of the harder things I have done. It seemed that when we got things in order, someone or something came along and ruined it. In the end? we prevailed!! and we have ourselves a fun, nice and warm home in a great area.
We ended up in Farmington near the border of Centerville. We have great neighbors up the street( Hi Williams family!) and tonight, our neighbor across the street brought us a gift to welcome us into the neighborhood. Everyone seems friendly. We are swimming in boxes, but it is slowly coming together. First priority was the christmas tree, and make the living room Santa ready. The previous homeowners have been so generous. They left their Christmas lights hung on the house and at the last minute decided to leave their fridge for us! We were prepared to have to buy a new one.
The boys are getting used to a lot of new things. They have to learn the dangers of a road in front of our house, neighbors, and many other things. We were so isolated and protected living at the mortuary. The first night here, we were just about asleep when we heard our neighbors slam their door. We both jumped up, ready to check it out. Living in a mortuary/cemetary, noises at night like that are things we have to check on. I guess neighbors once again will take some getting used to. Brandon also things the blinds and curtains have to be closed at all times. He feels like everyone is watching us. We are wierd and somewhat deprived I guess!! HA!! Here are some pictures of moving day(s). You will see us packing up the old house and moving into the new one. We picked some pretty cold, snowy days to do it. OH WELL!
We welcome visitors any time!!

Yay!
We watched for you at church today, but we figured you guys were probably elsewhere for Christmas stuff. Sorry I haven't been down with the kids yet! Crazy week!!

We were that way with the windows at first too, but we came to realize that (especially with a south-facing house) no one can see in as long as it's light outside. We do close our blinds and curtains at night though.

Hopefully we can be much more neighborly now that our kids are feeling better!
