Spiderman and Snakeman

Yesterday was a busy day for us. But the time our heads hit the pillow, we were exhausted. First thing in the morning, it was our turn to clean our churchhouse. With the boys help, we finished pretty fast. We went home, got cleaned up and went over to Tylynn's house for Tate's One year old birthday party. It was so fun. We all got wet, either in the pool, with balloons or the remnant of the numerous water fights. Tate was soooo cute with his cake and presents. I can't believe he is already a year old. We love him so much! Then it was a rush to get home and changed again to head up near Park City for the Larkin Mortuary Summer Employee party. Once again, the kids had a ball and the parents love chatting with everyone. There was a clown there making balloon animals and doing face painting. The boys got in line and each made their choices. Carter knew he wanted to be spiderman and Landon wanted a tiger face. When all was said and done, Landon ended up with a very cool snake on his arm. After the party, we got home and Brandon broke the news to Carter that we would have to wash his face off before bed so it didn't get paint all over in his bed and on his pillow. After such a long crazy day and no nap for Carter, he had a complete meltdown. He was crying so hard and rubbing his eyes, saying he didn't want his spiderman face to come off. (all while paint is running down his face with his tears). After much talking and wheeling and dealing, we decided to take a picture and a promise to clean it off in the morning before church. What a day!!
